Stainback Public/Private Real Estate (SPPRE), is one of the nations leading public/private finance and development advisors.
The company’s founding partner, John Stainback, has been active in the public/private real estate industry for over 20 years and has served as project manager for projects valued at $27.5 billion. Most, if not all projects, have been structured so that any public investment is supported 100 percent by nontax income and/or tax revenue generated by the project.
SPPRE was formed to fill a void, a missing segment in the real estate market that leverages the assets of the public sector and optimizes private partner expertise and investment. Serving as an advisor to private developers or public entities, SPPRE has experience on both sides of the table, which leads to deal making, not deal breaking. SPPRE enters real estate projects with the mission of creating a fair and reasonable deal structure for both partners. Part of the deal structure is to determine which party is better suited to own, develop and operate components of the projects.
Since 2001 SPPRE has been actively engaged in structuring public/private partnerships ranging from $10 million to over $1billion. SPPRE takes pride in the fact that no project is too small, and based on experience we can handle the largest of project sizes, budgets, and requirements.
Types of Projects SPPRE handles:
Typically complex real estate developments where the project is just beginning or has been stalled due to a number of reasons. SPPRE has extensive experience in the public/private finance and development of:
